Xbox’s September Game Pass lineup includes Dragonwilds and The Royal Writ
Microsoft’s first September wave spans survival, racing, fighting, and deck-building.
Microsoft outlined its first September 2026 Game Pass wave on September 1, with RuneScape: Dragonwilds scheduled for September 15 on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The cooperative survival game is listed for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.
The Royal Writ and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage are scheduled for September 10. Both appear under the same three subscription tiers, with the former bringing medieval deck-building and the latter offering fighting-game competition.
Earlier entries in the announced schedule include SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed on September 3 for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on September 8 for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.
The update also lists departures on September 15, including Dead Cells and Spiritfarer on cloud, console, and PC. Subscribers should check the platform and subscription tier beside each title rather than assume every addition is included in every plan.
