Nintendo schedules September 9 Direct focused on Switch 2 winter games
The presentation is set for 7 a.m. PT, with Treehouse gameplay afterward.
Nintendo has scheduled a Nintendo Direct for September 9, 2026, at 7 a.m. Pacific / 10 a.m. Eastern. Its official event page says the broadcast will run for roughly 45 minutes and focus on Nintendo Switch 2 games launching this winter.
A Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast will follow, showing gameplay from selected titles featured in the presentation. That gives viewers a second place to look for a closer view of games introduced during the main show.
The presentation will be available through Nintendo’s event page and the Nintendo Today! smart-device app. The app requires a Nintendo Account and a compatible device, and availability varies by country.
Nintendo’s event listing establishes the timing and scope, but does not identify a full game lineup. Any specific reveal predictions should be treated as speculation until Nintendo makes the announcements.
